The Grand Avenue Bridge, a 700 foot long suspension bridge built in 1891. It once crossed the Mill Creek valley but was wrecked for "urban renewel" in 1962.

The old water tower constructed in 1871 still stands at north Grand and 12th Streets in St. Louis. It is only one of seven of  the victorian era water towers that still exist in the United States.
