This early R. Goebel card shows the "New Highway Bridge". There is a street car crossing it near the smoke stack. This card dates from 1901 to 1907.

Images taken by R. Goebel before and after the "Hurricane" hit St. Charles in Feb 26, 1876. The Concert Hall was completely destroyed and the courthouse severely damaged. Note: Tornadoes were often referred to as "hurricanes" in the nineteenth century. This postcard dates to 1907 to 1915, although earlier versions may exist.

Postmarked Nov 1916. No publisher information. This bridge is where the St. Charles Rock Road (in St. Louis County) crossed into St. Charles. The bridge floor and hand railings were wooden planks.

Warrenton, Warren County Missouri as the business section appeared in its early days. This Bregstone postcard was postmarked October, 1912.
