Tony Faust Restaurant, corner of Elm and Broadway. At this location the first "Arc Lamps" in the city went into operation in 1878. Arrow Postcard Co., St. Louis, Mo. Postmarked 1910. Note: real image is much more clearer than this.

Wohler Grand Restaurant, 105 N. Sixth St., St. Louis, Mo. (Published by W. S. Rosenfield, Chicago, IL). Postmarked smudged but appears to be 1918.

 

Union Dairy Cafe, at Washington and Jefferson Ave, St. Louis, Mo. Postmarked 1910.

 

The Ratheskeller Restaurant in the American Hotel (located at 7th and Market Streets, St. Louis. This a linen card, dating to 1930's to after World War II. This one is postmarked June 24, 1941.  It states, "The Rathskeller is nationally famed for the excellence of it cuisine--known for its atmosphere of reminiscence.  The rare quiet beauty of the paneled woods that form its walls, sing out the songs of yesteryears.  Here you will find a most delightful place to dine." The Bevo Mill, at 4749 Graviois Ave., St. Louis, Mo. was originally built in 1916 by August A. Busch. Later A. B. Schneithorst became the proprietor.
