Beacon Series. One-cent postage, so dated before World War I (probably 1914-1916). This was an early white-bordered card, as most did not appear until 1917.

The midway in Union Station. S. M. Knox & Co. Printed in Germany. Card circa 1907-1916.

Midway stairs at Union Station. Published by the St. Louis News Co., circa 1910's.

An Iron Mountain Railway Depot on the cliffs of South St. Louis bordering the Mississippi River. People would enter depot at the top, purchase tickets and walk down the stairs to catch the train. In 1907, the sender states this location is about a mile south of St. Louis. Published by the St. Louis News Company by Litho-Chrome, printed in Germany. Below is a photo of the senders of this card. It was stuck on the opposite side along with the note. Unfortunately since this postcard was apparently mailed in an envelope, there are no names or addresses on the card.
