The Odeon & Rock Church, St. Louis, Mo.; No. 4050, Adolph Selige Pub Co., St. Louis-Leipsig. Printed in Germany. Pre-Nov 1917. This is St. Alphonsus Ligouri "Rock" (Catholic) Church on North Grand Blvd. The Odeon Theatre is the building next to the horse and wagon. At Odeon, operas and concerts were held (home of the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra (completely destroyed in fire in 1935). This card is not postmarked but the 1 cent postage indicates it dates to pre November 1917.
